Community Days
On June 4, 2011, PS #28 sponsored their first Community Day at the Reservoir. Students welcomed family members, neighbors, school administration, community leaders, and elected officials to the Reservoir and offered guided tours, environmental themed games and crafts, scientific experiments, and the chance to try their luck on the Reservoir Scavenger Hunt.

Mayor Healy attends Community DayJersey City's Mayor Jerramiah Healy stopped by our Community Day to visit with the students, take a tour, and try his hand at our Scavenger Hunt. Mayor Healy, along with members of the City Council, presented each of our students with Proclamations in recognition of their work with the reservoir. As a special treat, Mayor Healy led the students, teachers, parents, and community members in singing "God Bless America".
